Silent Fume

Displeasure spews forth
An ache within grows
The path to follow
Hard to consider

Difference abounds
A flurry of emotion
The choice unspoken
Buried deep within

Pride trickles away
To suffer is gain
Fight abandoned even
While Blinking with Fists

Written for Tuesday Title and 3WW.

Great poem, I liked the last stanza best:

Pride trickles away
To suffer is gain
Fight abandoned even
While Blinking with Fists

with the last line being my favorite of that! Good job! :-)
